Danielle Hayden, Office Manager - Freehold

As the Office Manager for the Freehold location, Danielle Hayden plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the facility, thereby contributing significantly to the positive patient experience. Danielle brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role, garnered from her diverse background and extensive tenure at Advanced Wellness.

With a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Delaware and prior experience in the IT Department of Charles Schwab, Danielle initially embarked on her career journey in a different industry. However, her transition to Advanced Wellness five years ago marked the beginning of a new chapter. Starting as a part-time receptionist and gradually progressing to the Front Desk Manager, Danielle’s dedication and hard work propelled her into her current position as Office Manager.

Throughout her time at Advanced Wellness, Danielle has demonstrated versatility and proficiency in a wide range of responsibilities, including new patient calls, scheduling, insurance verifications, and personnel management. Her hands-on experience and deep understanding of the operational intricacies of the facility make her a valuable asset to the team.

Beyond her professional achievements, Danielle is a devoted mother to two wonderful children. In her free time, she cherishes moments spent at the beach, enjoys quality time with her family, and enthusiastically supports her son at his baseball games and daughter at her dance competitions. These personal pursuits reflect Danielle’s commitment to balance and well-being, qualities that undoubtedly contribute to her effectiveness as an Office Manager and her ability to foster a positive work environment for staff and patients alike.

Gary Yen, MD

MCMSc, PA-C, AT

Dr. Gary L. Yen is Board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and has a sub-specialty in Pain Medicine. Dr. Yen grew up in Long Island, NY and received his medical degree from Ross University. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and performed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Stony Brook University, where he was chief resident.

Dr. Yen completed a pain management fellowship at RehabNY in Buffalo, NY, during which he served as the assistant athletic trainer to the Buffalo Bison, the Minor League AAA baseball team for the Cleveland Indians, as well as the Niagara University men’s and women’s collegiate hockey team.

The former chairman of the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Division of the Pain Management Department at CentraState Medical Center, Dr. Yen specializes in the non-operative treatment of a variety of joint, muscular, nerve, skeletal, spine and sports related injuries. He treats acute and chronic pain syndromes and performs electrodiagnostic studies. Dr. Yen also performs variety of interventional pain procedures and minimally invasive spine surgery for the relief of pain. He utilizes conservative treatments such as physical therapy, chiropractic care and acupuncture in conjunction with other procedures to enhance long term benefits. Dr. Yen believes in working with patients to create individual treatment plans.

When not attending to his patients, Dr. Yen likes to play golf, cook, and has a passion for playing the saxophone and piano. He is the proud father of two boys.
