At Advanced Wellness in Marlboro & Freehold, NJ, we understand the debilitating impact of plantar fasciitis and are dedicated to providing comprehensive treatment. Our multidisciplinary approach focuses on identifying the root cause of your foot pain, offering advanced non-invasive solutions to help you regain comfort, mobility, and an active lifestyle.

Physical therapy is a cornerstone of plantar fasciitis treatment, focusing on exercises to stretch the plantar fascia and Achilles tendon and strengthen lower leg muscles. Our licensed providers create personalized plans that may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
For patients seeking alternative or advanced non-surgical options, we offer therapies like acupuncture, which can help manage pain and inflammation. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, a form of regenerative medicine, utilizes your body’s own healing properties to repair damaged tissues and reduce chronic pain, providing a powerful boost to the natural healing process.
Shockwave therapy is an advanced, non-invasive treatment that uses targeted acoustic waves to stimulate healing in damaged tissues. This therapy helps increase blood flow, reduce inflammation, and accelerate the body’s natural repair processes, making it especially effective for conditions like plantar fasciitis. Many patients experience noticeable pain relief and improved function after a series of treatments, with no downtime required, allowing them to return quickly to their normal daily activities.

For athletes and active individuals, plantar fasciitis can be a particularly frustrating setback. Our treatments are tailored to help you overcome pain, restore function, and safely return to your sport or activity. We focus on strengthening, flexibility, and biomechanical corrections to prevent future recurrence and enhance performance.
Patients with chronic health conditions may experience foot pain differently or require a more integrated approach to care. We consider your overall health profile to design a treatment plan that is safe, effective, and supportive of your long-term well-being.
Not all patients seek treatment for severe pain – many aim to prevent future issues and maintain optimal foot health. If you’ve experienced occasional discomfort, have a history of foot problems, or want to improve your mobility and stability, our programs can help. We emphasize early intervention, proper foot mechanics, and personalized guidance to keep you active.

The most immediate benefit of professional treatment is a significant reduction in pain. By addressing the underlying inflammation and biomechanical issues, we help you achieve easier, more comfortable movement, allowing you to walk, stand, and participate in activities without constant discomfort.
Untreated plantar fasciitis can lead to chronic pain and compensatory problems in other areas of your body. Our comprehensive approach not only treats the current symptoms but also focuses on preventing further damage and recurrence, safeguarding your long-term foot health.
Professional treatment can accelerate healing through evidence-based therapies that address the root cause of your condition. Rather than temporary relief, our approach is designed to deliver lasting results, helping you recover more efficiently and maintain long-term foot health and function.
